Objective: To guide learners through high-complexity tasks by applying instructional "scaffolds" that bridge the gap between current ability and target proficiency.
Strategy: Using the metaphor of a mountain ascent, I architected a multi-tiered learning path based on Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD). By intentionally layering sensory, procedural, and conceptual support, the design ensures the learner is challenged without being overwhelmed, allowing the "scaffolding" to fade as mastery is achieved.
